8 CE Credits:

Unlock the future of adhesive dentistry with this dynamic, hands-on boot camp! Join Dr. Schiffenhaus as he bridges the power of iTero, MIDAS, and Ivoclar to master workflows for 3D-printed partial coverage restorations—like inlays, onlays, and overlays—that can also level up your crown game. This isn’t just about tools; it’s about a defect-oriented philosophy that harnesses modern adhesives, composites, ceramics, and digital tech to transform patient care.

Dr. Schiffenhaus will guide you through a modern prep paradigm that ditches outdated retention and resistance form, making CAD design and delivery a breeze. You’ll dive into efficient, esthetic prep designs for inlays, onlays, and overlays, then put theory into action on typodonts. From there, explore bonding protocols (including Immediate Dentin Sealing pros and cons), master scanning hacks with iTero, and design like a pro with Exocad Chairside—skills that translate across platforms. Watch your creations come to life with MIDAS 3D printing, then finesse them with post-processing tricks for jaw-dropping esthetics and seamless delivery. Wrap it all up with Ivoclar’s resin cements, tailored for 3D-printed materials, and cement your restorations with confidence.

What You’ll Conquer by Monday Morning:

  •  Prep and bond adhesive-friendly inlays, onlays, and overlays (with IDS in your toolkit) that scan, design, and seat like a dream.
  •  Scan quadrants like a pro with iTero—rubber dam or not.
  •  Design single and multi-unit restorations for 3D printing with Exocad Chairside (or adapt to your software of choice).
  •  Print, process, and polish multiple restorations with MIDAS for stunning, delivery-ready results.
  •  Cement 3D-printed restorations with Ivoclar resin cements—flawless adhesion, every time.

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM
Hands-On Highlights:

  •  Prep & bond (with IDS) 3 restorations: inlay, onlay, and overlay.
  •  Print, remove supports, clean up, hand-polish, and glaze with candy-coat characterization.
  •  Bond with confidence: prep intaglios, deliver to typodonts with resin cement, and polish to perfection.
