What You'll Learn
Practical concepts to elevate the aesthetics, predictability, and efficiency of anterior composite restorations.
Shape Before Shade
Natural-looking anterior restorations begin with proper formβnot simply selecting the perfect composite shade. Learn why contour, line angles, and emergence profile often have a greater impact on aesthetics than color alone, and how focusing on shape can simplify challenging cases.
Simplifying Shade Selection
Explore when a streamlined one-shade composite approach may be appropriate and how reducing unnecessary complexity can support greater efficiency, consistency, and confidence without compromising aesthetic outcomes.
Tooth Proportions & Space Closure
Review practical principles for creating natural tooth proportions, closing diastemas, managing black triangles, and developing restorations that integrate harmoniously with the surrounding dentition.
Finishing & Surface Texture
Learn how contour refinement, line-angle development, finishing, polishing, and surface characterization contribute to a more natural and lifelike final result.
